LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A rare sight: killer whales in the waters off the Southern California coast.

Whale watchers aboard the boat Triumphant enjoyed an encounter with a pod of orcas on Sunday afternoon.

Harbor Breeze Cruises operates the Triumphant out of Long Beach.
