A burro who was found with an arrow stuck in his ear was released back into the wild.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY (KABC) -- A burro who was found with an arrow stuck in his ear was released back into the wild.

The burro, named Spirit, healed up nicely and was back home after Riverside County animal services personnel took care of him.

He spent the last few weeks recuperating at Donkeyland.

Investigators are looking for the person who shot him. Donkeyland is offering a $4,500 reward for tips leading to the person's arrest and conviction.
