VIDEO: Bear spotted roaming in Sylmar neighborhood

SYLMAR, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A neighborhood in Sylmar is on the lookout after a bear was spotted several times in the area.

The first sighting happened Monday afternoon off Saddle Ridge Road.

The bear returned in the evening, prompting many residents to call 911.

One woman was at work when her surveillance cameras alerted her phone of the unwanted visitor.

Police searched the area, but never found the animal.
