FONTANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A resident in a Fontana neighborhood made a surprising discovery Tuesday afternoon when a pack of piglets ran loose through the streets.

The pigs were found near Plumeria Drive and Camomile Lane, authorities said. Animal service officers were called out to round up the little porkers.

The trio spent some time behind bars before being taken to the Western Riverside County Animal Shelter. It was not clear where the pigs would be taken to next of they had an owner.
