Man saves kitten on 10 Freeway in Ontario

ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) -- A kitten is alive thanks to a man who is no stranger to saving animals.

In a video, a kitten falls out from underneath a car onto the 10 Freeway in Ontario. David Loop immediately parked his car in the middle of the freeway and chased the frightened kitten to a nearby embankment.

He tried to grab the kitten, but it bit him. He left knowing that the scared animal was safely away from the road.

That wasn't the first time Loop saved an animal. He recently rescued a dog that was hit by car and left for dead earlier this month.

He said the dog named "Miracle" regained her vision and is walking.
