FAIRFAX DISTRICT, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Calling all whisker lovers: A new cat cafe is opening in Los Angeles.
Crumbs and Whiskers launched its pre-opening on the 7900 block of Melrose Avenue in the Fairfax District on Thursday.
Customers can relax with freely-roaming cats and order food and drinks such as a "cat-uccino."
The felines will come from local shelter Karma Rescue and will be available for adoption. There will be 20 cats at the cafe when it opens to the public on Sept. 30.
Crumbs and Whiskers, which also has a location in Washington, D.C., has partnered with nearby cafe Open Space.
Crumbs and Whiskers charges $22 on weekdays and $25 on weekends for 75 minutes of playtime.
To visit the cat cafe, you have to make a reservation online at CrumbsAndWhiskers.com.
