SUN VALLEY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- See photos of a ferocious, fast-moving brush fire burning in the Sun Valley area near the 210 Freeway amid windy, dry conditions on Friday.

Fire officials said a shift in the wind means the fire has the potential to grow rapidly. The fire is coming amid triple-digit heat in the San Fernando Valley.

The 210 was closed in both directions and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
