Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was in Bel Air raising funds at a pricey fundraiser.

On the verge of formally introducing his vice-presidential pick, Donald Trump was in Los Angeles on Thursday, holding a pricey fundraiser in Bel Air.

The cost of admission was $2,700, and then thousands more for photo opportunities and dinner.

The visit came as Trump was preparing to officially announce his pick for vice president on Friday in New York.

Sources told ABC News that Trump offered the spot to Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, who accepted on Thursday.

Trump announced he would delay the announcement of his vice president pick due to the attacks in Nice, France.

Pence, a staunch conservative, served six terms in Congress and supported Sen. Ted Cruz during the Republican primary, but later spoke very highly of Trump.

The Indiana governor has differed from Trump though on some key issues, including Trump's proposed ban on Muslims and his attacks on a Mexican-American judge.

The other names that Trump had been considering were New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
