Shooting at Pomona bar leaves 1 man dead, police say
A man was shot and killed early Wednesday morning at a bar in Pomona, authorities said.

POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was shot and killed early Wednesday morning at a bar in Pomona, authorities said.

It was not immediately clear if anyone else was injured in the incident, which took place at about 2 a.m. at the Back Door in the 1200 block of Mission Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The unidentified victim was initially airlifted to a hospital in critical condition, said Ed Pickett, a dispatch supervisor for the fire department. The Pomona Police Department confirmed the man later died.

No other information was available.
