POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- A Pomona man suffering multiple gunshot wounds turned to a woman he knew for help during his last moments. Police were investigating his death as a murder.

The woman called 911 at about 12:30 a.m. Monday, reporting that an acquaintance walked into her home in the 1200 block of West Third Street and then collapsed on the floor.

Officers found the 30-year-old man lying on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds in his torso. He died at the scene.

No suspect information was available.
