29-year-old man shot in El Sereno; suspect at large

EL SERENO, Calif. (KABC) -- A 29-year-old man was hospitalized in stable condition Monday night after being shot while sitting in his vehicle in El Sereno. The suspect remains on the loose.

The shooting occurred near Monterey Road and Huntington Drive at 7:55 p.m. A description of the suspect was not immediately available.

The LAPD Hollenbeck Station is leading the investigation. ]
