Queens Of The Stone Age singer apologizes for kicking photographer
Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme is apologizing for kicking a photographer's camera, hitting her in the face Saturday night at The Forum.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme admits he kicked a photographer's camera, hitting her in the face Saturday night at The Forum.

The band was performing in KROQ's annual Almost Acoustic Christmas.

Photographer Chelsea Lauren was in front of the stage when Homme swung his right leg out and kicked her.

She posted video on her Instagram and Twitter accounts showing the kick, with the caption "Thanks to Josh Homme I now get to spend my night in the ER. Seriously, who does that?!"

Homme apologized in a video he posted on Instagram.

"I don't have any excuse or reason to justify what I did. I was a total ***k and I am truly sorry and I hope you're okay. I've made a lot of mistakes in my life and last night was one of them" said Homme.

He also apologized to his bandmates, his family and friends.

Lauren, who is a photographer for Shutterstock, has received a lot of support on social media since the concert.

She tweeted "thank you to the #QOTSA fanbase for being a solid group of people overall and standing up for what's right regardless of your fandom. It is not falling on deaf ears and I really appreciate every message. Seriously thank you."

Lauren says she wasn't breaking any rules and was simply just trying to do her job.
