PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- Sheriff's deputies detained multiple people Thursday evening after a woman reported being raped in an abandoned building in Pasadena, officials said.

The rape was reported at 5:36 p.m., according to deputies at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Temple Station.

Deputies searched a building near Colorado Boulevard and Quigley Avenue and took several people out in handcuffs. Additional details were not immediately available.

The location is in an unincorporated area of Pasadena, just west of the Arcadia line.
