Riverside bank robbery suspect sought; lockdowns lifted

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KABC) -- A search for a bank robbery suspect prompted the lockdown of two schools in Riverside Tuesday afternoon. The suspect remains outstanding.

The male suspect robbed a U.S. Bank branch located on the 19000 block of Van Buren Boulevard just before 3 p.m.

He was last seen wearing a black mask, a white hooded sweatshirt and carrying a handgun.

Woodcrest Christian and Martin Luther King high schools were placed on lockdown as police searched for the suspect.

The lockdowns were lifted shortly after 6 p.m.
