San Bernardino motel shooting leaves 1 dead, 1 hospitalized

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- A 57-year-old man was killed and a 33-year-old man was hospitalized following a shooting in a San Bernardino motel Friday night, police said.

The incident occurred at the Economy Inn motel in the 600 block of West 6th Street at about 6:21 p.m. Responding officers found one victim dead inside one of the rooms.

The second victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound and transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where he is currently sedated.
