SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- New information has surfaced about the green card application of San Bernardino shooter Tashfeen Malik.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Malik claimed she was pregnant during her application process for permanent U.S. residency in 2014.

Immigration officials released the documents to members of congress, but they haven't been released publicly.

She gave birth to her daughter in May 2015.

Malik and husband Syed Farook left their 6-month-old daughter with a relative before the terror mass shooting that killed 14 people and injured 22 at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino on Dec. 2.
