SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- A play based on the San Bernardino terrorist attack was scrapped after the families of the victims expressed anger that a local college would profit off it.

San Bernardino Valley College had plans to create a play about the terror attack called "S.B. Strong." But the show was thrown out after relatives of the victims said the school would profit off the deaths of their loved ones.

The president of the college released a statement announcing the play's cancellation and apologizing for any pain it may have caused.
