SAN JACINTO, Calif. (KABC) -- Firefighters battled a small wildfire that erupted in San Jacinto Saturday afternoon.
Cal Fire and Riverside County firefighters received reports of a small fire near State Street and Ramona Boulevard around 3:17 p.m.
The first crew to respond reported the fire to be about 3 to 5 acres and that it was spreading at a moderate rate.
As more crews arrived, the fire was estimated to be between 4 and 6 acres. Shortly before 6 p.m. the blaze was knocked down at 10 acres
The area is under a red flag warning until noon Sunday, which means dry conditions and low humidity could affect firefighting efforts.
The cause of the fire was unknown.
