SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (KABC) -- Firefighters quickly tackled a brush fire in Santa Clarita Monday.
The blaze near Stevenson Ranch has burned roughly 90 acres.
It started in an oil field located in Pico Canyon.
Crews managed to stay ahead of the fire in the midst of excessive heat warnings.
No structures have been damaged.
At this time, the fire is no longer spreading.
It is now 35 percent contained.
