Victim of Santa Ana sexual predator recalls attack
A victim has come forward to recall the attack of a sexual predator Santa Ana police said is wanted in at least three sexual assault cases dating back to September of 2015.

SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- As police in Orange County search for a sexual predator targeting women walking alone at night, one of his victims came forward with a warning.

Santa Ana police released video of the suspect Tuesday evening, and said since then, two more possible victims have come forward.

"He's just out there, he's doing it more than once. It's something to be alarmed of," said the victim, who asked to not be identified by ABC7.

The woman said the suspect followed her as she left a gym in Santa Ana to walk to her car in October of 2015. Video captured the incident unfold.

"He was like, 'my name's Victor,' and then I was like, 'good for you.' And then he's like, 'are you single?' And then I told him, 'no I'm married, just leave me alone,'" the victim recalled.

The woman said the man continued to follow her. She said she turned her back on him to open her car door and that's when he made his move.

"When I turned around, he grabbed my behind and I told him, 'what did you do? You're not supposed to do that,'" she said.

After pushing him, she said the man ran off. The victim had a warning to other women.

"Not to walk alone at night, it's just dangerous. Nowadays you don't know what guys like that are capable of doing," she said.

Santa Ana police believe the suspect is responsible for at least three sexual assaults in the same area since September of 2015. Officials said there may be more victims, and one alleged attack as recent as Wednesday was reported.

"This is an investigation that hasn't been complete, but in that particular case, the suspect was masturbating. It shows an escalation," Cpl. Anthony Bertagna with the Santa Ana Police Department stated.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between the ages of 24 and 29, standing between 5 feet, 4 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing between 150 to 165 pounds.
