Dozens of people, including Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, headed out to Los Angeles National Cemetery in West Los Angeles to thank military members by placing flags on their graves on Saturday.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Dozens of people, including Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, headed out to Los Angeles National Cemetery in West Los Angeles to thank military members by placing flags on their graves on Saturday.

The tradition is done annually during Memorial Day weekend at the cemetery to honor those who have served in the U.S. military.
