Free gas offered to veterans, Honda owners as Memorial Day approaches

VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- As gas prices continue to climb, several Southland gas stations offered some relief on Wednesday.

A 76 station in Sherman Oaks and two Valero stations in Van Nuys provided free fuel to veterans as well as current servicemen and servicewomen less than a week before Memorial Day.

The gas came courtesy of SoCal Honda, which was also giving out free fuel to Honda owners.
