MODESTO, Calif. (KABC) -- A Modesto woman is crediting a bathroom stop at a local pharmacy for making her a millionaire.

Jennifer Daniel needed a bathroom break on her way to work earlier this week, so she stopped at a CVS pharmacy.

"I stopped to use the restroom because I couldn't hold it until I got to the office," said Daniel in a California Lottery news release. "I walked into the CVS, used the restroom and on my way out I saw the Lottery machine."

Daniel put $20 in for an Ultimate Riches Scratchers ticket. She scratched off the barcode and scanned it. That's when the screen on the machine showed she had won $5 million.

"I was very calm," she said. "I was just smiling, no screaming or anything like that."

Daniel said her top priority will be paying off her parents' house and car, so that her mom can retire. Also, she plans to put money aside for her son's education.

For her part, Daniel said she will continue working - just no more overtime so she can spend more time with her family.

The CVS store will also receive a retailer bonus of $25,000.
