Powerball, Mega Millions jackpots reach combined $690M with no winners

LOS ANGELES -- There were no winners in the early week drawings for Mega Millions and Powerball, bringing the combined jackpots up to $690 million.

The winning Powerball numbers from Wednesday were 3, 9, 16, 56, 60 and Powerball 3. The top prize vaults to $384 million for Saturday's drawing.

Not to be outdone, Mega Millions will also hold a drawing on Friday for its $306 million top prize.

The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing of the Mega Millions game were: 10, 12, 20, 38, 41 with Mega Ball: 25 and Megaplier: 4.

Winning both prizes this weekend is possible - but by a long shot. The odds of winning both Powerball and Mega Millions on back-to-back nights are 1 in 75 quadrillion, which holds 15 zeros.
