RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KABC) -- Riverside's 25th annual downtown Festival of Lights may have ended, but the historic Mission Inn is still decked out with thousands of twinkling lights.

For the second year, the hotel hosted its month-long celebration for Valentine's Day. They call it Festa dell' Amore, or the Festival of Love.

"Romance has been a hallmark of the Mission Inn Hotel and Spa for over a century," spokesperson Anderson Ewing said. "The owners, Kelly and Duane Roberts, keepers of the inn, are actually celebrating their 25th anniversary, so this was a way for them to celebrate their love, and give the community a chance to join in the love story."

As part of the celebration, approximately half a million lights are on full display at the main entrance to the Mission Inn. Naturally, the colors are of the romantic variety: red, white and pink. Much different than the holiday lights on display over a month ago.

"The Festival of Lights ends on Jan. 6, and we have basically 26 days to get ready for Festa dell' Amore," Ewing said. "The staff definitely works very hard to get it done in time."

Festa dell' Amore runs thru Feb. 28.
