CHINO HILLS, Calif. (KABC) -- Stop signs and streets markings are supposed to grab your attention, and one in Chino Hills certainly did the trick but for the wrong reasons.
Road crews attempted to paint "stop" but instead wrote "stpo" in a neighborhood off Peyton Drive.
Drivers were stopping, not necessarily because it's the rule of the road, but to take photos with the blunder.
They also pointed out there was a stop sign right next to the street marking that the crews could have referenced.
Journalists can relate to the heartbreak of a typo and hopefully the street marking will be corrected soon.
