Volunteers were hard at work on Tuesday, putting the finishing touches on floats that will be featured in the annual Rose Parade.
Fiesta Parade Floats in Irwindale unveiled a line-up that includes: Dole Packaged Foods, Miracle-Gro, Kaiser Permanente, City of Torrance, AIDS Healthcare Foundation, City of Los Angeles, City of Carson, City of Riverside, Underground Service Alert of Southern California, Northwestern Mutual, Lucy Pet and the Tournament of Roses Queen's float.
Thousands of people have a helping hand in creating the breathtaking floats that the public will get to see during the parade in Pasadena on Jan. 1.
This Christmas week, volunteers were affixing thousands of flowers and floral arrangements to the jaw-dropping displays - a task that requires over 10,000 cumulative hours for completion.
To make just one of the floats featured at the Rose Parade, it costs about $250,000 on the low end and about $500,000 on the high end.
Fiesta Parade Floats has the highest prize winning rate over the last 30 years in the Rose Parade industry, according to the builder company.
