Santa delivers presents to kids in Jurupa Valley

JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- The holidays became a little brighter for families in need in the Jurupa Valley area thanks to Santa, Mrs. Claus and dozens of volunteers.

Jolly Old Saint Nick and his helpers delivered more than 70 new bicycles to kids in the community. Each child received a golden ticket for the Polar Express, which they exchanged for a bike, a helmet and at least one wrapped gift.

About 100 families in the area were adopted for the holiday season and the kids in those families received several hundred toys.
