SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Five people were wounded in a drive-by shooting in South Los Angeles Tuesday, police said.

Someone opened fire from a black vehicle near Vermont Avenue and 65th Street around 6:30 p.m., Los Angeles Police Department officials said.

Four males and a female were injured and were taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

No detailed description of the suspect or vehicle was immediately available.
