Passenger allegedly smoking marijuana forces emergency landing
A man was turned over to law enforcement after allegedly deciding to smoke marijuana onboard an airplane.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KABC) -- A Southwest Airlines plane was forced to make an emergency landing shortly after takeoff on Wednesday because a passenger allegedly decided to smoke marijuana in the bathroom.

The airplane took off from San Francisco and was headed to Los Angeles' LAX, but made an emergency landing safely in San Jose.

The passenger in question was turned over to law enforcement.

The other 32 people onboard were loaded on another plane and continued on their journey.
