LA Clippersforward Danilo Gallinari will be out indefinitely with a left glute muscle injury, the team announced Wednesday.

Gallinari suffered a contusion to his left glute muscle, and subsequent imaging revealed a partial tear. He will be evaluated in January.

The Italian big man had already missed 13 games because of the injury before returning to last week's win over the Raptors on Dec. 12. He aggravated the muscle in that victory, sidelining him again for an additional five games.

Gallinari has appeared in 11 games for the Clippers this season, and has averaged 13.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
