Dodgers family in Torrance mows LA symbol into front lawn for boys in blue
After 25 years of marriage, Noreen and Dan Thomas would do anything for each other, and that even means creating this Dodgers logo on their front lawn.

TORRANCE, Calif. (KABC) -- After 25 years of marriage, Noreen and Dan Thomas would do anything for each other, and that even means creating a Los Angeles Dodgers logo on the front lawn of their Torrance home.

When the boys in blue won the National League Championship Series, Dan surprised his wife.

"I came home to this, so he surprised me," Noreen said.

He'd mowed the lawn to be the iconic L.A. symbol.

"I just mowed the lawn. It looked like it would fit there...and I just set the lawnmower down lower and lower until I chopped it up," Dan said.

Noreen is a huge Dodger fan so Dan wanted to make sure he had a "happy wife" for a "happy life."

The Thomas' hosted a watch party at their home for the first World Series game.
