Dodger Joc Pederson crashes Rams practice, wants to try out for receiver
You've seen Joc Pederson hit the ball out of Dodger Stadium, but have you seen him on the gridiron?

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- You've seen Joc Pederson hit the ball out of Dodger Stadium, but have you seen him on the gridiron?

The Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder, who played football in high school, tweeted "I miss football...can I get a tryout @RamsNFL something like Tebows?"

The Rams heard his calling and invited Pederson out to practice in Thousand Oaks, where he caught passes from fellow bay-area native and Rams starting quarterback Jared Goff.

"He just got named the starter, and to stay out after practice -- he's probably got a ton of things to do. We appreciate it and it was a lot of fun," Pederson said.

The outfielder said he's got what it takes to play in the NFL, but only under one condition: As long as he doesn't take a hit by one of the players.
