Jeff Fisher makes light of offensive woes to keep team relaxed

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles Rams offensive woes were highly noted this season, as the team had failed to score a touchdown in its first two games.

Many critics pointed out that the Rams had more wins (one) than touchdowns after the team defeated the Seattle Seahawks 9-3.

Rams head coach Jeff Fisher attempted to keep his team loose, especially his players on offense, as Dani Klupenger explained when she joined Jay Mohr live from Tampa Bay on "Rams Primetime Saturday with Jay Mohr."

"Obviously defensively he's very happy, offensively he tried to make light of the situation just because he doesn't want the offense to be thinking too much about it to where they psych themselves out," Klupenger said.

Klupenger said Fisher tried several tactics to help keep the offense calm and relaxed during practice.

"He'll have team huddles in the endzone, he kind of hands the ball to some offensive guys in the endzone. He's like, 'It's pretty cool to hang out here isn't it?' He even joked about having the offense camp out in the endzone overnight and maybe light some candles and tell some stories in there just so they can feel comfortable in the endzone," Klupenger said.
