LA Clippers All-Star guard Paul George was ruled out just before Thursday night's tipoff against the Washington Wizards because of dizziness.

George, who is scheduled to play in this weekend's All-Star Game in Atlanta, warmed up before the game at Capital One Arena and felt dizzy before being ruled out. Point guard Reggie Jackson started in George's place and had 12 points, four rebounds and one assist.

The Clippers lost 119-117.

In the Clippers' previous game against Boston on March 2, Kawhi Leonard was a late scratch just before tipoff because of back spasms he felt during warm-ups. Leonard, who is scheduled to start in this weekend's All-Star Game, returned to the starting lineup against the Wizards and had a team-high 22 points, five rebounds and three assists.

George is averaging 23.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 27 games this season.
