The LA Galaxy spoke to Bob Bradley about their coaching job before he ultimately signed for LAFC, according to a report from MLSsoccer.com.

The Galaxy sacked coach Curt Onalfo on July 27, immediately replacing him with Sigi Schmid, and LAFC announced the hiring of Bradley a few hours later.

But MLSsoccer.com, citing multiple sources, said the Galaxy had targeted Bradley before making their move.

The Galaxy have not found much improvement under Schmid this season, managing just one win from nine games since Onalfo was fired.

Bradley, the former U.S. national team coached, previously managed Swansea City in the Premier League but lasted just three months before being replaced.

He won the MLS Cup with the Chicago Fire in 1998, and after a stint with the MetroStars, he last coached in MLS with now-defunct Chivas USA.
