LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles Lakers are hosting a Kobe Bryant-themed extravaganza, dubbed "Kobeland," to mark the retirement of his jerseys.
The street festival will be held Monday on Chick Hearn Court at L.A. Live Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will feature games, a "Kobe-inspired ferris wheel," music, merchandise and a basketball shoot-out.
The jersey ceremony, which will officially retire numbers 8 and 24, will happen during halftime at the Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors game.
Admission to "Kobeland" is free and it is open to the public.
