As the Los Angeles Lakers seek to win out and avoid the play-in tournament, LeBron Jamesreturned to the court Saturday, posting 24 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds during a 122-115 win over the Indiana Pacers.
James had missed the past six games to continue to recover from a high ankle sprain.
Dennis Schroder, out the past seven games because of the league's health and safety protocols, also returned against the Pacers, scoring 14 points.
Currently the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference, the Lakers can move up and avoid the play-in tournament if they win against the New Orleans Pelicans and thePortland Trail Blazers lose to the Denver Nuggets on Sunday.
