ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Orlando Magic acquired third-year guard C.J. Wilcox and cash from the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday for Devyn Marble and a 2020 second-round draft pick. The Clippers promptly waived Marble.

Wilcox, who appeared in 23 games last season for the Clippers, averaged 3.0 points while shooting 39 percent from 3-point range.

The 6-foot-5 Wilcox was a first-round draft pick (28th overall) of the Clippers in 2014 out of Washington. He struggled to find playing time with the team but has played well in the D-League, averaging 17.6 points and shooting 42 percent from beyond the arc.

Marble averaged 2.1 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists with Orlando last season. He was drafted two years ago.
