LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Rams defensive end Dominique Easley recruited All-Pro teammate Aaron Donald to help him serve Thanksgiving dinners to Los Angeles families in need Tuesday.

"I grew up with a single mom who worked three jobs. We never had a big Thanksgiving," said Easley.

Tuesday is a normal day off for players.

However, these two Rams defensive players partnered with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Salvation Army to serve 30 disadvantaged families at the Goodwill store at 3150 N. San Fernando Road in Los Angeles.

This is the second year Easley has played for the Rams, and it's the second year he's made a point to help families in need.

"Football will end, life goes on" said the 6 foot 2, 284-pound lineman from Staten Island New York.
