WR Brown resolves speeding case in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH -- Antonio Brown has resolved his speeding case in Pittsburgh.

The former Pittsburgh Steelers receiver accepted a guilty plea of driving at an unsafe speed, which includes a fine and points off his driver's license, according to multiple reports. Brown, who was traded to the Oakland Raiders in March, even had a message for Steelers fans from his court appearance.

"To all my fans in Pittsburgh, never got to say goodbye," Brown said Tuesday on Instagram while standing in what appears to be a court hallway. "I'm here today in downtown Pittsburgh court."

Police cited Brown on Nov. 8 for allegedly driving a black Porsche more than 100 miles per hour through Ross Township, Pennsylvania. In February, Brown was found guilty of reckless driving and paid $426.77 in fines, according to the magistrate's office.

Shortly after the trade, Brown purchased two downtown billboard spots with the message, "Thank You Pittsburgh" alongside a picture of Brown. Brown played nine seasons with the Steelers and ranks second in franchise history in receptions (837), receiving yards (11,207) and touchdowns (74).
