SUN VALLEY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Three young boys were rushed to a hospital after being struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon in Sun Valley, authorities said.

The crash, involving victims ages 8 to 10, occurred at about 3:42 p.m. in the 8500 block of Sunland Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One of the boys suffered a broken leg, and the other two sustained minor injuries, said a spokesperson for the LAPD's Valley Traffic Division.

Firefighters and Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the scene, in front of a 7-Eleven store whose parking lot was cordoned off by yellow tape.

The unlicensed driver, who remained at the scene after the collision, did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, police said.

The motorist had not been arrested or cited as of Friday evening, according to the LAPD.
