Exhibit featuring Port of Long Beach photos opens at Expo Arts Center

LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- The Expo Arts Center in Long Beach was the exhibit site for this year's Port of Long Beach Photo Program.

Eighty photographers were chosen by lottery and invited to take a photo workshop to hone their skills.

Photographers then took a sunset cruise through the Port of Long Beach and captured some amazing photos. Contestants submitted their three best shots for the competition.

The annual contest is a joint effort between The Port of Long Beach and The Arts Council for Long Beach.

This was the sixth annual competition. Photographer Susan Slade won for her photo "Triumphant."
