LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Tommy Chong is using his humor as he faces a second cancer fight. This time it's reportedly rectal cancer.

"I'm in treatment now," Chong told Us Weekly. "Either I get healed or I don't. But either way, I'm going to make sure I get a little edge off or put up."

Chong tweeted about the news Wednesday morning.

The 77-year-old star, best known for "Cheech & Chong," says he's trying to say positive through a mix of reading and marijuana.

In 2012, Chong battled stage-one prostate cancer.
