5 Fwy reopens in Santa Ana following police activity

SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- Police activity temporarily shut down the 5 Freeway in both directions at Grand Avenue in Santa Ana Friday during the afternoon commute.

The northbound lanes were reopened around 4:30 p.m., and the southbound lanes were reopened shortly after. No further information was immediately released.
