Stolen truck leads authorities on erratic chase to Industry home; 1 in custody

INDUSTRY, Calif. (KABC) -- The driver of a stolen pick-up truck led Baldwin Park police on a high-speed chase through San Gabriel Valley on Tuesday night, before bailing on foot in an Industry neighborhood.

The suspect raced through surface streets in Baldwin Park and El Monte, at times driving on the wrong side of the road and rushing through red lights.

The truck continued onto the eastbound 10 Freeway and the southbound 605 Freeway. At one point, the suspect switched off the headlights to the truck.

Shortly after 8:15 p.m, the suspect exited the truck and ran into a neighborhood in Industry. The suspect may have run into a house on Le Borgne Avenue.

The suspect was later taken into custody.
