Possible Christmas tree fire sets Tujunga home ablaze

TUJUNGA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A Christmas tree fire quickly set a home ablaze in Tujunga on Saturday morning.

Around 5:30 a.m., firefighters responded to the 6400 block of O Donnell Lane. Two people escaped uninjured. Firefighters said the smoke alarms inside the one-story home were functioning.

Forty firefighters had the fire knocked down in 27 minutes. While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, firefighters are focusing on the Christmas tree.
