Report: UCLA has most applications out of all US universities

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A big win for the Bruins! Statistics show more students want to attend UCLA than any other school in the country.

According to U.S. News & World Report, UCLA received nearly 87,000 admissions applications this year - the most of any university.

Among all those prospective students, less than 19 percent got in.

UCLA isn't the only popular university in the state. Of the schools with the most applications, nine of the top 10 are located in California.
