VALENCIA, Calif. (KABC) -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.3 struck Santa Clarita in Los Angeles County Friday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The temblor, which struck at 2:21 p.m., was centered 7.5 miles south southwest of Valencia.

Eyewitness News viewers reported feeling the earthquake in Porter Ranch, Westlake Village and Simi Valley.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
