LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles County prosecutors announced on Wednesday that no charges will be filed against more than a dozen Venice High School students accused of sexually assaulting two underage girls.
Fifteen teens, who ranged in age from 14 to 17, were taken into custody in March for alleged sexual assaults involving the two girls. Police said some of the sexual acts were forced, and others were consensual but involved victims who were too young to legally give consent.
Greg Risling of the District Attorney's Office said there was "insufficient evidence" to pursue the case.
